Worn daily.
Kept pristine.

Invisible protection film for luxury watches, hand-fitted in London.

See the difference

You see the watch, not the film.

The same clasp after fourteen months of daily wear. Left bare, it collected the marks that only polishing removes, and polishing removes metal. Protected, the film took every mark; we lifted it and the steel beneath was as it left the boutique.

Fully removable. No residue. No polishing, ever.

Why protect it

The easiest decision you will make about your watch.

A watch you wear every day will mark. The only question is whether the steel takes it, or the film does.

  1. Marks are inevitable

Desk edges, doorframes, laptop palm rests, a bracelet against a bracelet. Daily wear finds every polished surface.

  2. Polishing takes metal away

Each polish removes steel and softens the sharp edges the maker intended. It cannot be undone.

  3. Condition is value

When you sell or trade, crisp edges and untouched finishing are what buyers pay for.

  4. Film is invisible, and reversible

You see the watch, not the film. When it has done its job, we lift it and the steel beneath is as it left the boutique.

Client note

“The attention to detail is exceptional. The film is practically invisible, and both watches look just as they did when they left the boutique. I can finally enjoy wearing them without worrying about every little mark.”

The hands behind it

Two people, one bench, never rushed.

Wrist Guard LDN is Jason and James: two friends who could talk about watches for hours. Every watch is measured, cut and fitted by hand, at one bench, in a private London studio. No franchise and no production line: one piece at a time, for as long as it takes.

About the studio

Questions, answered calmly.

What is watch protection film?

A thin, clear, flexible film, from the same family of materials used to protect car paintwork, cut to the exact shape of each surface of your watch. It takes the everyday scuffs and scratches so the metal beneath does not.

Will I be able to see the film?

In normal light, no. The film is optically clear and every edge is cut to sit just inside the lines of the case, so you see the watch, not the film. You need to look closely, at an angle, to find an edge.

Can the film be removed? Will it leave residue?

Yes, at any time. The film lifts away cleanly and leaves no residue on the case, bezel or bracelet. We remove it for you before a resale or a re-fit.

Why film rather than polishing?

Polishing removes metal to take out scratches. Each polish softens the edges and changes the finish the maker intended. Film takes the scratches instead, then comes off, so the steel underneath stays exactly as it left the boutique. No polishing, ever.

Will it protect against knocks and drops?

Film is made for the marks that build up on a watch worn every day: desk edges, doorframes, laptop palm rests, other jewellery. It is not armour. A hard knock or a drop can still dent metal or crack a crystal, so treat your watch with the usual care.

How much does it cost?

Every quote is personal. It depends on your reference, its finishing and whether you want the whole watch covered or only certain parts. Tell us your watch and we will reply with a price and appointment options. Nothing is booked until you confirm.
