The Rolex GMT-Master II “Batman” in Oystersteel is one of the most recognisable travel watches in the world. Its ceramic bezel shrugs off scratches, but the polished centre links of the bracelet pick up desk-diving scuffs and hairlines almost immediately.
A local client wanted to wear it every day without spoiling it, and needed it back on their wrist quickly.

Polished centre links
Mirror-polished steel shows any trapped dust or air under the film, so the fit has to be spotless and perfectly aligned.
The bezel edge
The ceramic insert is tough, but the steel edge of the rotating bezel needs careful coverage against knocks from the side.
A quick turnaround
Keeping the wait short, while still checking every edge of the clasp for lifting.

How we protected it.
Using film cut from our templates for the 40 mm GMT-Master II case, we protected the watch in one streamlined session. The high-gloss film matches the factory sheen of the steel while staying invisible.
